Salt marshes of Ukraine are absolutely breathtaking... We've decided to have several expeditions to catch as much diversity, as we could.
It has all started from the Lemurian pink lake, that was not so popular during the time, we've read about that.
So, we've came there...
And later we've went to Dzharylhach Island and bumped into the salt marshes... We were left absolutely speechless...They were so unusual and so beautiful...
And as the Dzharylhach Island is a nature reserve - we still have a lot of time to spend there in a near future...
Also, the island has a great history, but that's definitely for another time ;)

We've decided to expand our routes next year. So we went reading more and 2020 brought us to 2 new routes to the south of Ukraine.
And that was absolutely stunning!
We've went to Kinburn spit. That has the salt fields there and so having absolutely great views.
Kinburn spit also acts as a nature reserve. And we were lucky enough to met some of its inhabitants
But the salt marshes didn't let us go. And we've continued our search ;)

Most of the salt marshes are located on the territories of the nature reserves. That's why they are also acting as a home for a huge variety of birds
For a long time salt fields are present there. And also healing mud is being collected there
And just a bit more ;)
